WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A South Florida man accused of injecting silicone into patients' buttocks has been sentenced to eight years in prison.
A Palm Beach County judge sentenced 44-year-old Calvin Butler, also known as Tamieka Butler, last week after he was convicted of two counts of practicing medicine without a license.
Authorities say Butler had been working out of a room at the El Patio Motel in West Palm Beach before he was arrested in January. One woman told deputies in December that Butler charged her $200 each for four visits this past fall.
Around the same time, deputies talked to a man who said he had been paying Butler $100 a week for injections from June to October. Doctors had to remove part of the man's buttocks.
