TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- There's a movement in Tallahassee to cut down vehicle registration fees after they went up significantly in 2009. That's when the legislature raised annual driver-related fees about $500 million.
The Orlando Sentinel reports Senator Joe Neg-Ron filed legislation to lower those increases to about $230 million a year.
So what does it mean to us?
If the bill passes, car registration fees would lower a driver's annual fee about $12.
