Hillsborough Co. principal, teacher arrested for alleged child abuse

TAMPA -- Two Hillsborough County educators have been arrested on child abuse charges.

Coleman Middle School Principal Michael Hoskinson, 53, and Plant High School teacher Kimberly Hoskinson, 49, were arrested Monday.

According to investigators, it started with an argument. They say Kimberly Hoskinson then pushed the victim and Michael Hoskinson punched the victim in the ribs twice.

The victim had bruised ribs and an injured wrist.

Both Michael and Kimberly Hoskinson denied the accusations.

At this time, the relationship between the Hoskinsons and the victim isn’t known.

According to Plant High School, the alleged abuse did not happen on school campus.
