St. Petersburg, Fl – The Prodigy program brings out the best in kids and students involved in the arts program are staging a free music festival on December 10th from 2 – 5 p.m. at the University Area Pavilion.
The University Area Community Development Corporation (CDC) sponsors the Prodigy Cultural Arts Program. It serves at-risk kids throughout the Tampa Bay area.
“Prodigy is an awesome program, because it transforms young lives through the arts,” explains University CDC’s Davida Bowen. “We’re teaching them life skills, such as how to communicate better, how to problem solve, and just how to be better stewards in their community and also their families.”
The I Am Prodigy Music Festival will feature both student and professional entertainers. The headliner act is the Freddy Montes Band.
Food trucks and arts activities will also help make it a fun afternoon for families. The park and outdoor stage is located at 14013 N. 22nd Street, Tampa.
