Kitten rescued from car engine

Jacksonville, FL - No room to work under the hood had Rusty Newton working the jacks. White's automotive responded to the call, an emergency.

First jacking up one side then the other. Finally enough room to work. Newtown slid under the car. What he saw and found was a kitten.

Angie Fox was persistent. When she heard the kitten purring her thoughts turned to getting it rescued.

The jacking was the hard part. The rescue did not take long. It ended with everyone being happy and the kitten being named rusty.

So, where was Rust hiding? In between the exhaust manifold and the fire wall. Newton just had to reach up over rack and pinion and pull him out.
