St. Petersburg, Florida - Mistral, Sirocco and Boreas: these are just a few of the magical coffee blends created by Kahwa Coffee Roasting Company. This local coffee house has opened a second St. Petersburg location and this one offers freshly made salads and sandwiches.

Kahwa Cafe has only been open since February, but the locals have already discovered this new java hangout. Kahwa Espresso Bar just up the street opened a few years ago and caters to the Old Northeast crowd, while Kahwa Cafe on 2nd Avenue South attracts more of a downtown crowd.

Owner Raphael Perrier wanted to create a local place where you could relax, have a latte and chill. With free WiFi, guests are encouraged to sit back and relax, and they do.

The lunch fare is simple and fresh: French baguette sandwiches, croissants, creamy soups and tasty desserts compliment the star of the show, which will always be Kahwa's sinfully delicious blends of coffee.
