Air Force vet gets new set of wheels to financial freedom

Clearwater, FL -- She's helped to protect our country's freedom, and now she's getting the keys to her own piece of freedom... A new set of wheels.

Holley Shively served in the Air Force for more than 10 years, but she and her family recently found themselves struggling to make ends meet and were forced from their home. She's got a new job with the help of the VA, but needed a reliable car to get her there.

Wheels of Success teamed up with State Farm and Dimmitt Chevrolet to give her a 2005 Hyundai Elantra to help put her family back on the path to financial security.

"I'm grateful," Holly said. " This will help out tremendously."Holly had been walking to work since last fall. She says the new ride will help to take care of the couple's daughter too.

Wheels of Success has helped more than a thousand people either get newer vehicles or make repairs since 2003.
