ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Internal Revenue Service issued a lien against Casey Anthony over nearly $70,000 in unpaid taxes in the 2008 tax period, according to a notice filed with the Osceola Clerk of Courts.

The lien is filed at 522 Simpson Road in Kissimmee, the address of Anthony's defense attorney, Jose Baez.
The assessment was made Nov. 1, 2010.
The notice of federal tax lien indicates that Anthony owes $68,520.41 in unpaid taxes.
According to the notice, it was filed on May 17.
Anthony was arrested in 2008 and charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.
She has been in jail since October 2008.
Anthony is currently on trial for those charges. If convicted, she could face the death penalty.
