The other kitten died the same day of the attack and Dexter was severely injured, suffering seizures from the head trauma he sustained from the attack.
For a while, Dexter was doing better and even started wobbling a bit when he walked, but his seizures returned Thursday and again late Sunday night.

By Monday, they became more constant and showed no signs of stopping. Without being able to stabilize him, veterinarians of the Pet Luv Nonprofit Spay and Neuter Clinic had to make the painful decision to euthanize the 16-week-old kitten.
The kitten was given the name "Dexter" by the President of Pet Luv and you can read more about Dexter's time and see more of his photos at PetLuv Pay Neuter Clinic's Facebook page.
Wilana Frazier was arrested on two charges of cruelty to animals and two charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She bonded out of jail days later.
There is a petition online now in relation to the abuse and death of Dexter and you can check that out at forcechange.com.
