ZEPHYRHILLS, Florida (AP) - The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a three-car crash in Zephyrhills that killed three people and injured several others.
Authorities say a car heading west on State Road 52 Sunday morning failed to stop in traffic and hit another car. The first car veered into oncoming traffic and hit another car head on.
Three people in one car died at the scene. Their identities have not yet been released.
Authorities have not yet said how many other people were injured in the crash or the extent of their injuries.
