SEMINOLE, Fla. -- Deputies with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's help in solving an overnight hit and run in Seminole.
According to PCSO, an unidentified man was crossing Park Blvd. east of 110th Lane when a small, dark sedan struck him and fled. Deputies say the victim was then struck by a silver Honda Civic.
The driver of the Civic stayed at the scene and assisted authorities, who are now searching for the first vehicle. They say it's a late 1990's or early 2000 model car of unknown make. One of its headlights is out.
The driver is described as a white male in his late 20's to early 30's with dark, short hair. He was seen wearing a striped polo-style shirt with blue jeans.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Cpl. Keith Williams of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office at 727-582-6200.
