Traffic stop leads to meth arrests

North Port, Florida -- A traffic stop in North Port lead to the seizure of a significant amount of methamphetamine and the arrest of two men Wednesday.

The sheriff's office says deputies pulled over a red Chevrolet Monte Carlo on South Tamiami Trail at Galleria Boulevard around noon.

They ordered the two men from the car and during a search two plastic boxes filled with nearly two pounds of crystal meth was found in Anthony Combs' front pockets.

Both Combs, 39, and the driver, 34-year-old Gregg Williams, were charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine.
