Bradenton, Florida-- A 23-year old "Youth Soccer Coordinator" has been arrested for molesting a six-year-old child, and police say he blames "demons" for his actions.
Bradenton Police Detective Leonel Marines arrested Aaron M. Brooks around 1:15 this morning.
Brooks, who works for I 9 Sports in Lakewood Ranch as a "Youth Soccer Coordinator", initially denied touching the victim's genitals, but later met with the boy's mother and admitted to touching him "once for approximately thirty seconds," Bradenton officials say.
Police indicate the incident took place on the 1400 block of 16th St. West, in Bradenton.
After Brooks' arrest, and Post-Miranda, police say he admitted to the crime, and claimed he committed the act because, "he was possessed by demons, and it made him feel 'good,' and satisfied."
The police report adds that Brooks' soccer coordinator position gave him access to over 600 children.
The City of Bradenton Police Department encourages any parent or caregiver who believes their child may have been victimized by Brooks to immediately contact Detective Leonel Marines, 941-932-9327.
Police charged Brooks with one count of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation on a child less than 12 years old, which is a Life Felony offense.
