Tampa, FL-- There was some doubt whether Aqib Talib would be in this training camp, but he's here and concentrating on football.
Talib was facing trial this summer, on a felony gun charge in Texas. But the charges were dropped, and Talib was a model student in Greg Schiano's OTA's and mini-camps.
Now, he's entering his 5th year with the Bucs. And he says it's time to repair his image.
"It's very important," Talib said after Friday's practice. "I felt the last 2 incidents were because of what my name is... Then again, it's my fault, I made my name what it is... "it shouldn't be too hard to get back in the community again... I want to be known as a great cornerback, Ronde's little protégé... That's what I want to be known as."
