Tampa, FL - Judge William Fuente maybe considering a change of venue after dismissing the jury pool today in the Dontae Morris trial. Many factors were cited, but primarilly prior exposure through the media was what led the judge to make his decision.
This trial is not related to the deaths of Tampa Police Officers David Curtis and Jeffrey Kocab.
About a month before police say he killed the officers, Morris was accused of the 2010 shooting of 42-year-old Rodney Jones as he left the Cotton Club in Tampa.
In all, Morris is accused of killing 5 people.
