Brooksville, Florida -- Two men, spotted in a car just used in a gas station robbery, are in police custody on other robbery charges.
Police say on Wednesday evening, Jeffrey Crum and Travis Guntor were pulled over after the two men and their car matched the descriptions just involved in an armed robbery at a gas station in the 1300 block of Commercial Way.
During an interview with officers, they say Crum admitted to acting alone in a June 16 robbery at a Chevron station in the 700 block of S. Broad Street. He also told police he was the getaway driver in a July 29 robbery at the Stop-N-Save in the 300 block of Ponce De Leon Blvd.
Police say Guntor admitted to robbing the Stop-N-Save while armed with a knife on July 29.
Crum, 31, was charged with robbery and principal to armed robbery. He is being held on $60,000 bond.
Guntor, 20, was charged with armed robbery and is being held on $50,000 bond.
