Lakeland, Florida -- A man faces lewd and lascivious charges after a teen girl said he assaulted her in the storage area of a convenience store Thursday afternoon.
The girl told Lakeland Police 33-year-old Resaul Karim approached her while she was at the Coastal Mart in the 3500 block of Cleveland Heights Boulevard and asked her to go to the storage area. He then kissed and groped her and exposed himself.
The girl left the store and told her mother, who called police.
Karim has been charged with 2 counts Lewd and Lascivious Molestation and Lewd and Lascivious Molestation.
