Rain has been over north Florida and over the Bahamas but very limited in the Bay Area. This will change as the trough over north Florida sags south and a tropical wave moves north this weekend. Moisture will be drawn up from the tropics a upper disturbance kicks off T-storms Saturday and Sunday.
The tropical wave will bring up our rain chance to near 50% over the weekend.
Until then look for 40% rain chance Friday. Highs will stay in the low 90s. With nights in the upper 70s.
A disturbance in the middle of the Atlantic West of the Cape Verde Islands has become Tropical Depression 7 Thursday evening. It will be named Gordon probably Friday as it takes a track through the Caribbean Sea just like Ernesto. Ernest made landfall in Mexico Thursday.
Also complex of thunderstorms emerging off of Africa's coast could emerge as a tropical storm Helene this weekend.
