Spring Hill, Florida -- A Spring Hill man faces numerous drug charges, in addition to child neglect, after narcotics deputies found marijuana plants in his home.
On Aug. 7, deputies arrived at Thomas Goins's home in the 11000 block of Heathwood Drive to conduct a narcotics search. When they arrived, the sheriff's office says they could smell marijuana coming from the home and found four to five plants being grown in containers inside.

Goins, 31, was charged with cultivation of marijuana, child neglect, and possession of marijuana, among others. His is currently being held at the Hernando County Detention Center.
It is not known how old the child was who was living in the home at the time.
