Tampa, Florida-- Due to the recent heavy rain and high winds, the metal overhead sign on the Davis Islands bridge was damaged, police say.

The access bridge to Davis Islands is restricted to one lane at this time, and the Department of Transportation is enroute to remove the metal sign.

There are reportedly power outages in the area also.
