Spring Hill, Florida -- A 14-year-old boy kept himself busy over the past five days, not by playing with friends, but by committing at least six home burglaries, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies say at one point the boy went into a home, while the residents were there, and stole a purse. Deputies caught up with the teen in Spring Hill who, they say, admitted to committing six burglaries since Aug. 15.
In addition to the burglary charges, the teen was taken in on an outstanding Juvenile Pick-up Order for Violation of Supervision. He has since been taken to the Juvenile Detention Center in Ocala.
