TAMPA, Florida - Your commute could be very different now that road closures are in place.
Road closure signs are up, dramatically changing the way you get into downtown Tampa. City officials are also keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Isaac and how that may affect the routes.

Traffic is a major issue for city officials over the next five days. Several streets downtown are closed, including bridges, the Selmon Expressway, and part of northbound Bayshore Boulevard.
Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn tells drivers to "take extra time if they have to make their way around town, particularly if they have to move around downtown."
The first question we asked the mayor is how Isaac will affect road closures and alternate routes.
If you have any traffic related questions, you're asked to call 866-RNC-8687.
The roads will be closed through Thursday, August 30.
