Bradenton, Florida -- A 4-year-old girl was killed Thursday afternoon after police say she was accidentally hit by a car in her home's driveway.

The sheriff's office says Daisy Martinez was hit around 12:20 in the afternoon in the area of 34th Avenue E and 27th Street E by her mother, 23-year-old Gracie Moreno. She was taken to Blake Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

No charges have been filed Moreno.
