Tampa, Florida -- President Barack Obama is trying to keep Republican challenger Mitt Romney on the defensive as the two candidates campaign in Florida Thursday.

Immigration will be a prime topic.

The Commander-in-Chief first arrived in Miami Thursday morning, where he spoke at a forum hosted by the Spanish-language television network Univision.

It's the same forum where Romney earlier made remarks about his campaign being "about the 100 percent in America."

Romney is looking to Hispanic voters to help get back on track after being secretly captured on video saying 47 percent of Americans believe they are "victims" entitled to government help.

A new poll shows Hispanic voters favor President Obama 66 to 26 percent.

After Miami, President Obama headed here to Tampa.

One challenge he faces is attracting support from seniors citizens. Polls show Romney has a 53 to 38 percent lead among Florida voters 65 and older.

Obama landed shortly before 5:30 at Tampa International Airport and is now attending a private fundraiser.
