Hudson, Florida -- Around 3:15 a.m. Thursday, two vehicles were involved in a crash at the intersection of US 19 & SR 52.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Pasco county deputy was sitting at a traffic light when a silver SUV lost control for some unknown reason and broadsided the deputy.
Both the deputy and the driver of the SUV were transported to local hospitals. Their conditions are currently unknown.
FHP is currently investigating to see if alcohol played a factor in this crash.
