Tampa, FL - For the second time in three weeks University Police have responded to a report of a rape on campus.
According to University Police, they responded to a rape that occured early Sunday morning in the Epsilon Residence Hall.
Current information received at this point in time indicates that parties involved are acquainted.
Lt. Charlotte Domingo, of the University Police, said with the information UP has, there's no reason to believe the rape of the student in Kappa Hall and this one, are related.
"Students should remain alert to their surroundings," she said. "Look for anything that look suspicious, report suspicious activity immediately and take personal safety precautions."
Both cases remain under investigation.
