Hello, Joe Bucs Fan...
Well, another week, another member of the Bucs' secondary is caught with an illegal substance.
Now, if Ahmad Black gets traded to the Broncos or the Seahawks, he'll be fine because in Colorado and Washington, it will soon be legal to smoke pot.
But here in Florida, the Bucs still take a dim view of getting buzzed, especially behind the wheel of an SUV. Black will still play. He'll be disciplined by Greg Schiano, but if Schiano has his way, we'll never know about it.
It's a shame, since there is so much right going on with the Bucs right now. They won 2 straight, on the road, and that's tough to do in the NFL. They're at .500, and right in the NFC playoff hunt. Their offense has exploded, and it's actually feared around the league. The defense rush defense is number-1.
But before you get carried away, the defense pass defense? Last...
So, if Schiano can pull his troops through another off-the-field episode, they just might have a chance to beat the Chargers.
I'm Dave Wirth, and I'll see you at the game.
