Tampa, FL-- Downtown commuters using the Westbound Selmon Expressway should plan for a brief detour this evening.

The Florida Department of Transportation has announced that all traffic will be detoured off the Expressway between Exits 8 and 7 from 10 p.m. tonight, until 2 a.m. tomorrow morning.

The detour will take drivers off Exit 8 to westbound Kennedy Boulevard and then south on Morgan Street, where commuters can re-enter the westbound Selmon Expressway using the Morgan Street entrance ramp.
