Clearwater, Florida -- Burned food set off smoke alarms Wednesday evening and brought firefighters to the Pierce 100 Condominiums, a high rise building on the Intracoastal next to the Memorial Causeway Bridge.

Smoke was reported on one of the floors, and firefighters traced it to burned food in a unit on the west side of the 6th floor.

No one was injured.
