Tampa, Florida -- Two men are suspected of stealing money orders and cashing them all over the Tampa area.
This began on February 4, 2013 approximately 4:00 a.m. when the two suspects removed checks and money orders from the leasing office of the Marquis Apartments at 2609 Gemini Court in Tampa. They reached through the drop box, left the scene and began cashing the stolen checks and money orders.
The same two suspects are also believed to be responsible for similar burglaries on December 31, 2012 and January 2, 2013. Both burglaries occurred at the San Marin Apartments on 3501 W.Waters Avenue, in Tampa.
According to reports, both suspects are described as white males, approximately 5'11, and between 170-185 lbs. One suspect was wearing a two-tone winter jacket, blue jeans, dark shoes and a blue hat. The other was seen wearing a zip-up hoodie jacket, blue jeans and dark shoes.
Anyone with any information on the suspects is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200.
