Sarasota, Florida-- The 30-year-old former UCF student found dead in a campus dorm room not only graduated from Seminole High School in Pinellas County, 10 News has also learned his mother is believed to live in Sarasota.
A background check on James Seevakumaran lists his mother as living on Tallywood Drive in a 55-and-older subdivision of Sarasota.

Neighbors were unaware of any connection between the woman and the UCF suspect, but did report police activity in the neighborhood Monday morning.
One neighbor, who would not go on camera, told 10 News a plain-clothed officer showed up at the home and said his neighbor had experienced a death in the family.

The woman, who 10 News is not naming until her connection to the case is confirmed, is said to be a friendly person who recently lost her husband. Friends say she was often visited by her daughter, but they did not recall seeing her son.
Everyone we talked to Monday night was saddened by the news of the possible connection, and wished the family well as they go through what neighbors imagine would be a very difficult time.
