Sun City Center, Florida -- Hillsborough County deputies are still trying to determine what happened during a crash involving a golf cart and a motorcycle in the Sun City Center area Tuesday.

Authorities say 77-year-old Fred Brooks suffered was flown to a local hospital where he is in stable condition at this time with non-life threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet while on a scooter at the time of the crash.

The driver of the golf cart, 81-year-old David Durie, was treated at the scene for road rash.

The intersection at Kings Boulevard and McDaniel Street just west of the Falcon Watch Golf Club has been reopened.
