St. Petersburg, Florida -- Pinellas Pasco State Attorney Bernie McCabe has released a letter about the shooting death of Arthur Dixon.
On Sunday, March 10th, St. Petersburg Police Officers Devin Jones and Curtis Wright intentionally discharged their firearms while confronting an armed suicidal suspect.
The shooting resulted in the death of Arthur Dixon.
Bernie McCabe, Pinellas Pasco State Attorney, has released a letter to Chief of Police Charles Harmon with his findings in the case.

Mr. McCabe concluded that "the death of Arthur Dixon was the result of having been shot by Officers Jones and Wright and said shooting was justifiable homicide pursuant to Florida Statute 776.012."
The St. Petersburg Police Department's Internal Affairs Division is still conducting an administrative investigation to determine if there were any violations of Department policy in this case.
Officers Jones and Wright will remain on administrative duty until the Internal Affairs case is complete.
