Citrus County, Florida -- Citrus County Sheriff's Office detectives are looking for a man who was arrested on drug trafficking charges and did not show up for his probation appointment.
David Preston Rogers was arrested in July of 2012 on federal drug trafficking charges and state drug charges. He also violated his probation and did not show up to a probation appointment on Friday, April 19, 2013. Rogers made arrangements to turn himself in on April 25, however, he never arrived to be taken into custody.
Detectives have been working with the Department of Homeland Security, have notified the U.S. Marshals.
Rogers is described as:
- A black male
- Approximately 5'8" tall and
- Around 160 pounds.
He is facing up to a 20-year prison sentence for his previous federal drug trafficking charges.
