TAMPA, Florida -- A Tampa family has been displaced after a rotten tree fell onto their home during a storm on Monday, August 19.
Time Fire Rescue says a large oak tree fell from a neighboring yard into the front portion of the home on East Bougainvillea Ave.
The homeowner, 58-year-old Princilien Lajeunesse, was inside with his family at the time. No one was injured.
Fire Rescue says the house sustained significant damage and is now uninhabitable. The American Red Cross is helping the family with temporary housing.
