Tampa, FL -- A house that caught fire early Monday morning and shut down traffic on parts of I-275 and I-4 has been torn down.
Tampa Fire investigators are trying to figure out what started the fire in an abandoned home on Nebraska Avenue.
Firefighters arrived at the home around 12:45 a.m. Monday and found heavy smoke coming from one side of the two-story home. It took two hours and 45 firefighters to get the fire under control.
Tampa Police shut down parts of I-275 and I-4 due to heavy smoke, but everything has since reopened.
No injuries were reported.
