St. Petersburg, Florida -- Two opportunities remain for St. Petersburg residents to comment on the city's proposed FY14 budget before City Council and Mayor Foster give final approval later this month.
City Council is expected to adopt the tentative FY14 budget and tax rate during the first public hearing on Thursday, Sept. 12 at City Hall.
Then, residents will be allowed a second opportunity to comment on the proposed spending plan before a final vote is taken Sept. 26.
Both public budget hearings begin at 6 p.m. and are in City Council Chamber.
