St. Petersburg, Florida -- Detectives say they have arrested the suspect who sexually assaulted and killed a homeless woman in 2005.
On the afternoon of May 22, 2005, the body of 49-year-old Sara Lynn Wineski was discovered under a secluded wooden deck behind what was then the Ronald McDonald House at 8th Avenue South. She had been sexually assaulted and strangled.

At the time, a Ronald McDonald House resident told investigators that screams were heard around 11 p.m. the previous night.
DNA evidence was collected at the scene, and detectives have now been able to match it to a man who has been imprisoned in Ohio since 2006.
Raymond Samuels, who is already serving a sentence for attempted murder and kidnapping, has been charged with first degree murder. Investigators say Samuels had been in the St. Petersburg area for about a month when Wineski was killed.
Samuels is currently in the process of being extradited back to Florida.
