Tampa, Florida--SideBern's offered a pop-up peak at the new menu of Elevage, the restaurant that will grace the upscale Epicurean Hotel next to Bern's Steakhouse in South Tampa.
The hotel with a rooftop lounge, restaurant and cooking classroom, is slated to open December 18th.
Executive Chef, Chad Johnson, says you can expect a creative twist on family favorites like mac and cheese, fried green tomatoes and beer weinies.
The menu also includes: Quail Cordon Bleu - jambon de Paris, gruyere, pommery mustard; Homage to Bern - pressed steak sandwich, alpine cheeses, French onion au jus, onion rings; and Pork Porterhouse - 'petit chorcroute garni', apple, whiskey pickles.
Executive Chef Johnson is a 2012 James Beard Best Chef South Semi-Finalist.
Anticipation has been building in the Bay Area since word spread about the new Epicurean Hotel, which is described as a hotel built around a restaurant.

In addition to Elevage, the hotel's main restaurant, it will also showcase, Chocolate Pi, its patisserie with handcrafted sweets; and Edge, the hotel's rooftop bar.
And let's not forget about the Epicurean Theater, a 36-seat Viking equipped show kitchen where you can sit and learn about fine wine, mixology and the culinary arts.

The hotel is scheduled to open December 18. It is located off of South Howard Avenue right across the street from Bern's Steak House.
