Manatee County, FL - School board members were frustrated after Monday's meeting when the news broke about $3.9 million in unaccounted costs in the district.
The Bradenton Herald was able to speak to School Board member Bob Gause and he said he didn't know how these costs weren't noticed.
So how is the Manatee County School District looking to fix this $3.9 million shortfall? They suggest cutting $1 million from their central office budget and using central office employees as substitute teachers instead of contracting out.
