St. Petersburg, Florida -- Oh, the weather up north may be frightful, but down here it's delightful.
Many parts of the Bay area are experiencing near record high temps and that has many businesses experiencing major business.
While it may look like Christmas, it definitely doesn't feel like it to customers enjoying lunch outside at Park Shore Grill located along Beach Drive.
At least it sounds like the holidays are here.
"Santa baby and hurry down the chimney tonight," sings Gina Gorr of Tampa.
For business owners like Tyson Grant of Park Shore Grill who says this weather is the perfect holiday gift.
"We love this weather. Half of our restaurant is outside."
Ursula Correll who is visiting from Dallas got a picture from her daughter this morning showing a blanket of snow.
"I think it's 20 degrees, cold and icy. I'm happy to be here."
The only cold one may find here in Downtown St. Pete is at Paciugo's gelato.
"When it's cold weather, it is perfect. Look at other parts of the country and we're blessed," says owner Carl Riche.
Riche says his business is already doing better than last year at this time.
"We are noticing increases. We are having a good year."
And it's all thanks to the weather, something these ladies from Ohio are enjoying.
"I'm Facebooking them and telling them the temperature," says Marilyn Endsley from Ohio.
Because although there may not be snow, there's sun, and even in Florida you can find holiday cheer.
