Bradenton homicide under investigation

Bradenton, FL -- On July 12th 2014, at 6:00 p.m. officers responded to 616 25th Ave West for a report of a shooting.

When Officers arrived on the scene, an adult Caucasian male victim was found unresponsive in front of the residence.

Officers at that time provided emergency care to the victim until Bradenton Fire Rescue and EMS arrived on scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries as a result from being shot.

A suspect was taken into custody at the time of the shooting and is currently being questioned by members of the Manatee County Homicide Investigative Unit.
