VERO BEACH, Florida (WPEC) -- Police investigating a Vero Beach massage parlor say they uncovered an operation where clients get sex acts in exchange for cash.

According to the Indian River County Sheriff's Office, a detective in an unmarked vehicle set up surveillance of Pine Tree Massage, 1189 US Highway 1 SW, on Wednesday following reports of prostitution at the location.

The detective witnessed a white male park his motorcycle at the location at 11:30 a.m. and go inside. An hour later, he exited and drove to a Walgreens store.

After exiting the drug store, the detective spoke to the man who said he'd been given an hour massage after which the massage therapist told him to turn over and she began to masturbate him. He said this was his second visit to the parlor.

The man, who was not identified, told the detective he tipped the woman $20, but she said she needed more money. So he drove to Walgreens to retrieve another $20 in cash for her.

The detective returned to the parlor with the man and, after he positively identified the massage therapist, Yu Chun Jiang, 42, was arrested on a charge of prostitution. She gave a permanent address of 41-40 Parsons Blvd. in Flushing, N.Y.

The massage parlor was shut down because it doesn't have a license to operate. Jiang and two other workers at the parlor are in the United States legally under work visas, according to the sheriff's office, and the U.S. Border Patrol recorded the arrest and interviewed the three for possible future administrative action on their visas.
