WELLINGTON, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say eight students at a South Florida high school have been arrested for allegedly selling drugs to undercover police officers.
Palm Beach County School District Police say seven students at Palm Beach Central High School were arrested Thursday. An eighth student was arrested Friday, and police tell Sun Sentinel that another arrest was expected Saturday.
All the students face charges for delivery of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.
Police say the arrests follow a three-month investigation that targeted students suspected of selling drugs at the Wellington school. The students arrested allegedly sold drugs to undercover officers who were posing as students.
