St. Petersburg, FL - In the area near the El Cap Restaurant, a 72-year-old woman was walking north across 35th Avenue North when an unknown black male suspect approached the victim from behind and grabbed her purse.
The black male suspect was also accompanied by white male suspect and both fled to a nearby waiting vehicle, possibly a dark colored, 1980`s Sedan, driven by two other unidentified suspects.
Shortly after the robbery the two suspects used the victim's credit cards to purchase video gaming equipment at the Walmart store located at 201 34th St. N and also used the cards at the Walgreens store located at 3350 Central Ave.
