Plant City, Florida -- The man found shot in his driveway outside a Plant City grow house Saturday is now in police custody.
When deputies arrived to the home in the 3200 block of Bruton Drive, they found a man--who calls himself Jose Luis Panamenochavarria--lying in the driveway suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, his friend 27-year-old Moises Alfaro-Ramos shot to death on the back porch and a house full of marijuana.
Panamenochavarria, 49, was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released the next day. He has been since charged with Trafficking in Cannabis and not having a valid driver's license.
Detectives are working to verify Panamenochavarria's identity due to the fact he reportedly has not been cooperating with them.
The investigation is ongoing.
