Tampa, FL-- Dr. Adrian Medina was arrested and charged in 2004 for unlawful sexual activity with 16/17-year-old minors. Now, just under 10 years later, Medina has been arrested again for violating his "Sex Offender Obligations", reports say.
At the time of his initial arrest, Dr. Medina was not sentenced, but he was required to register as a sex offender. His medical license was also revoked, though reports say he indicated on his registration form that he was a self-employed doctor.
The problem, according to deputies, is that Dr. Medina listed his home address as one off the 27000 block of Lambeth Rd. in Brooksville, but failed to update his information when he relocated to a home off the 15000 block of Lake Magdalane Boulevard in Tampa.
Deputies attempted to verify Medina's address as the one in Brooksville multiple times, but were "unssuccessful." It was only after 24-hour survaillance of Medina's actions that officials were able to find his new residence.
Medina has been arrested and charged with two counts of Violation of Sex Offender Obligations, though reports say additional charges are still pending in this ongoing investigation.
Medina is being held at the Hernando County Jail, where he has been denied bond.
