Tarpon Springs, Florida -- Police in Tarpon Springs are hoping additional reward money will help them solve two recent murders.
The Tarpon Springs Police Department is offering $5,000 rewards for information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of the person, or persons, responsible for the murders of Eddie Dixon and Luther Shaw. The $5,000 is in addition the reward already being offered in both cases by Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County.
Eddie Dixon, 73, was found dead on Dec. 7, 2012, laying on the floor of his home on N. Ring Avenue. Police say there were no signs of forced entry or struggle and they have no motive for the killing.

Luther Shaw, 48, was shot to death on July 31, 2012. He was found in the roadway of S. Safford Avenue, near East Harrison Street. Like Dixon's murder, police have no motive for the attack on Shaw.
