Punta Gorda, Florida - A UPS driver in Charlotte County is accused of stealing the prescription drugs he was suppose to deliver to customers.

Investigators say 26-year-old Joshua Jansen stole Morphine, Roxicodone, Methylphenidate, Focalin, Dexmethylpendate and MS Contin.

The prescription drugs were headed toward customers of the mail order pharmacy MEDCO, but detectives say Jansen took them for himself.

Charlotte County Sheriff's investigators say Jansen admitted he is addicted to opiates, but denies stealing the UPS packages.
