Palm Harbor, Florida - A Pinellas County elementary school teacher has been arrested, accused of having a sexual relationship with a neighborhood teenager.
Alyson Perri-Jarvis, 36, is a 3rd Grade teacher at Southern Oaks Elementary School in Largo.
She faces one-count of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives say the victim was not a student, but a neighbor of Perri-Jarvis. She is accused of starting the relationship with the now 18-year-old victim when he was 16-years-old.
A spokeswoman with the Pinellas County School Board says Perri-Jarvis is suspended.
Perri-Jarvis is in the Pinellas County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
